Voller Vorfreude konnte ich es heute zum ersten Mal in meinen CD-Player einlegen. Leider gefiel mir der erste Song “Sexy as hell“ schon nicht so besonders. Nach Durchhören aller Songs wurde ich mehr und mehr enttäuscht. Die Songs klingen unspektakulär, die Musik richtig mies - und der Gesang teilweise echt komisch. So wird der Song “Act like you“ beispielsweise von einem ständigen, penetranten “Booooom-Beat“ begleitet. Was fast ganz fehlt, sind ergreifende Schmacht-Balladen, mit der Sarah ihre enorme Stimmgewalt und ihr sonst immer vorhandenes großes Gefühl darbieten kann. Auch Ohrwurm-Songs, die einem sofort im Gehör und Gedächtnis bleiben, fehlen fast komplett. Als wirklich gut kann ich an diesem Album nur den von Sarah für Töchterchen Summer geschriebenen Song “I�0�5ll kiss it away“, sowie “Under my skin“, und “Still crazy in love“ befinden. Als hörbar bezeichnen würde ich “Your love is dangerous“, “Play“ und “See you later“. Dass scheinbar keine besonders große Auswahl an guten Songs vorhanden war, macht sich auch an der Anzahl der Titel bemerkbar. Dieses Mal sind es nur noch 12 Songs - auf den vorherigen Alben waren es mehr...wirklich schade!
Bleibt nur zu hoffen, dass das nächste Album wieder besser wird...

Sarah Terenzi (née Lewe; born June 13, 1980), better known as Sarah Connor, is a German singer and songwriter. She debuted in 2001 under the guidance of musicians Rob Tyger and Kay Denar and became the first act to ever have four consecutive chart-topping hits on the German Media Control singles chart. Following success in mainland Europe with her single “From Sarah with Love,“ a series of hit records established her position as one of the most successful German pop vocalists to emerge in the early 2000s with the sales of over 12 million copies worldwide.
